The task demands of soccer include 4 areas we need to develop, all of which are equally important to the other and cannot exist without the other. They are: the psychological, the physical, the technical, and the tactical pillars. For example; the midfielder who shows off his/her technical ability must also be able to execute quickly under pressure from an opponent and thus be able to make quick decisions and read the game quickly enough (tactical). The same midfielder must also be able to attack and defend on both sides of the ball which requires a great deal of physical fitness as well as a ruthless desire to compete, fight and battle (physical and psychological).
This type of training academy is for those who want to be better players and/or a better team. It is our job at Dallas Soccer to give to you the personal attention so that you become better players in as many of the 4 pillars of the game as possible throughout the week and following year.
One question that we will constantly ask our players is "can you play technically at speed under pressure from an opponent, on both sides of the ball, with the correct focus of aggression for the total game and still, make a good decision that is simple, fast, and early?"
